Mountain biking at Redtail
Sat, Aug 1, 7:00 AM MDT
📍 Redtail trailhead
You'd ride your bike over. You'd call, and they were ten minutes away. Nobody scheduled anything.
Now there are work schedules and kid schedules and family obligations and a group chat with forty unread messages about a dinner that never happened. Making time for your friends got genuinely hard.
Forty messages. Six maybes. Three people who never saw it. No plan.
“We should do something soon.” Everyone agrees. Nothing gets a date.
You wanted to go. Coordinating felt like work, so you stayed home.
So don't coordinate. Just go — and tell people where you'll be.
“I'm going mountain biking Saturday at Redtail trail. I'm going — are you?”
A real thing with a time and a place. Not “sometime next month.”
From your phone, to your thread. We never message anyone on your behalf and never touch your contacts.
They tap, pick their name, and answer. No account. No download. Any phone.
Keep using it. Send the plan there. The difference is what happens after you hit send.
You still text your friends yourself. We never message anyone on your behalf.
If you'd go by yourself but you'd rather not, it belongs here.
No — and this is the whole point. They tap the link, pick their name, and answer. No app, no account, no password. It works on any phone with a browser.
You send it. You copy the link and text it to your group yourself, from your own phone. We never send messages for you and we never touch your contacts.
Not a problem. Anyone with the link can add themselves — they just type their name. Listing people up front only saves them typing and lets you see who hasn't answered yet.
No. Guests can see who's going — seeing that your friends are in is a big part of what makes people show up. But maybe and can't answers are only visible to the person who made the plan. A no is never broadcast.
Nothing today. It's free while we find out whether it actually helps people see their friends more.
Yes. Add an end time and the invite shows the full range — “Fri, Aug 8, 4:00 PM – Sun, Aug 10, 12:00 PM.” Good for camping trips and weekends away.
Edit the plan or cancel it and the page updates for everyone. One caveat worth knowing: the preview card baked into a text message is frozen when you send it, so if you change the time, send the link again.
